Another simple rig for Maya. This one is great for practicing eye and brow animation. There's a lot that you can do to change the spacing, size, and shape of the eyes and brows, so download it and check out the ReadMe for usage notes.
Here's a very quick test I did with the rig to see how it animates. You have to be careful to maintain volume in the brows as you pose them, but it's a fun rig, if I do say so myself. Enjoy!

I try to use blink and squash attribute, but don't works on maya 2010. Why? Great rig
That's very strange. Can anyone confirm? I don't have Maya 2010 so I can't troubleshoot this for now.
Sorry, the problem was me and my Snow Leopard Mac. The rig is fine!
Ah, good to hear you found the problem, and thanks for the feedback!
Whenever I try to open these files in Maya 2011 it freezes the entire program. What do I do?
Hmm, try going to the option box next to Open Scene and checking "Ignore Version". Then try to open the file and see if that works. Make sure you're not double clicking on the maya file to open it, as this can make Maya grumpy with most files. I've tested the rig on my Mac in 2011, and on the PC's at work, so I'm not able to duplicate this problem. Hope the above tips help. Let me know how it goes.
Cheers,
Joe
Hey Joe, I just set my blog up yesterday and I posted some work using your eye rig. Here's a link if you'd like to look: http://jamesrrodriguez.blogspot.com/
Thanks for the rig!
Very cool. I hope it's useful for your project. Cheers!
Hello there.
Me and a friend of mine used this eye rig in a student project. It saved us a lot of time!
